The Vermont Licensed Plumbers Association (VLPA)
The VLPA is a subscriber body of licensed, professional plumbers in Vermont. We serve our
subscribership with discounted Continuing Education Unit (CEU) classes and monthly newsletters
that keep our members up to date in their trade. As well, the VLPA continues to fight for
basic code coverage for all Vermont residents. Our services include the following:
-
The VLPA provides consulting to plumbing professionals concerning plumbing licenses,
certificates, renewals, state statutes, plumbing codes and rules,
inspection and inspectors, work permits, regional offices, classes and many other
trade related issues.
-
During the legislative session, the VLPA provides testimony and advocacy related to
the plumbing trade.
-
Our newsletter reports on all Plumbing Board and Apprenticeship council meetings.
The VLPA provides key information not found through any other outlet. In addition, the
newsletter reports information on local, state and national trade related issues.
-
The VLPA provides Continuing Education Unit (CEU) hour classes required for
plumbing license renewal as well as gas and oil installer certificate renewal.
-
Our online forums provide professional plumbers a central sounding board to
discuss issues, share skills and ideas, post and find jobs and post
advertisements for material sales.
-
The VLPA provides trade professionals with a wealth of relevant information
through links and documents on our web site.
