As everyone is well aware, the cost of health care has sky rocketed over the past decade. Insurance rates have followed this trend. Most plumbers in this state either work for a small business or are self employed.

As has been the case in some industries, a group insurance policy may be able to make health insurance more affordable for us all. Does anyone have any information about such an idea? Are there any existing groups in the state? Is it possible? Would a formal plumbers union be of any help in obtaining a group health insurance plan?
